Food
Our cuisine although based on classical and regional French cooking, has a heavy influence from Spain and Italy, allowing the menu have a much more modern European feel.
Quality foods made by talented professionals in a convivial atmosphere are our 3 ingredients to beautifully cooked dishes. Using the finest naturally grown produce, our emphasis has always been on quality and simplicity, a romantic nod to the stylish Auberges’ of provincial France. This is reflected in our full flavoured, rich yet light unpretentious dishes, where our emphasis has always been on quality and simplicity.
Throughout 2012 our set menu will be taking a gastronomic tour of France bringing you the best dishes from region to region, the menu will change 4 times throughout the year giving you a great opportunity to come and enjoy the cuisine from the different regions of the country.
Wine
Many hours of tasting and some heated debate have gone into selecting our wines. Like new dishes on the menu, all the wines are sampled with food before they are listed, since that is the way in which they will be enjoyed in the restaurant. With over 70 bins our uniquely French wine list has certainly evolved over the last 10 years but the guiding principles behind it still remain the same: to find individual regional wines that are the best examples of their region, from the best growers at great value prices.
We offer 18 of our wines by the glass, 250ml carafe & 500ml carafe which to give you the opportunity to taste your way around the list.
